A Complete Guide to Winter Skincare Routine: 7 Ways to Get Hydrated Skin This Winter!

For a healthy and glowing skin, a good skincare routine is a must; and especially during winters, it becomes of prime focus!  Cold, dry and harsh winter does take a toll on the skin. It makes it look dry, patchy, flaky and wrinkled, if unattended. So, following a good skincare routine for a hydrated and glowing skin becomes inevitable.

Here is a complete guide to winter skincare routine. Read on for Happy Winters.

  1. Exfoliate and Scrub

The first step to get rid of dry flaky skin is to exfoliate. We tend to ignore this extremely important step but it’s a must in regular routine. Exfoliation scrubs off dry and dead skin cells and helps remove impurities for a flawless smooth surface. The best way to exfoliate is use chemical and paraben free herbal TNW Oat Cleanse – Polishing Scrub for Face & Body packed with the goodness of oats that gently scrubs and cleanse the face unlike the apricot and walnut granular scrubs that are hard on skin.

  1. Wash and Cleanse

The next is to give your face a nice cleansing. When the skin is already dry and losing its moisture, it’s time to lock in the natural oils by choosing mild cleansers instead of harsh ones that tend to dehydrate the skin. To make the skin look naturally dewy and combat patchiness, use TNW Grealmo Face Wash that comes with the richness of almond oil and green tea – natural ingredients that detoxifies skin and leaves it moisturised more than ever.

3.     Tone

After cleansing, it’s time to tone your face as to tighten the skin by closing the open pores. Mostly toners are fabricated with more or less some amount of chemicals, it’s better to switch to natural toner –Rose Water. This essentially pure TNW Steam Distilled Rose Water formulated with age-old technique of steam distillation of rose water guarantees pure gulab jal (rose water) that is free of artificial fragrance and alcohol.

4.     Apply Vitamin C Face Serum

Vitamin C Face Serum is an all year round serum – whether it’s summer or winter, you must include it into your daily beauty routine for a healthy and nourished skin. You can pick this wonder product from the newly launched range of TNW Vitamin C Face Serum (with 20% Vitamin C, Hyaluronic, Niacinamide, Glycolic Acid) that naturally help lighten dark spots, increase elasticity of skin, promote collagen production, increase new cell formation and illuminate skin from within – perfect for Radiant Skin.

5.     Moisturize

When you can’t do without a moisturizer in summers how can you skip it in winters? It waters the skin and keeps it moisturised to keep dryness at bay. Massage a good amount of moisturizer and lock in the moisture to make your face look supple, bouncy and fresh!

6.     Apply Sunscreen

Most of you might skip this step during winter thinking sun being harmless. But mind you, it can be as dangerous to your skin as it is in summer. And if taking sun bath, it’s more than essential. I know sunscreens do add extra sheen to your face with its greasy and sticky formulations, but fret not TNW’s Praben free Sun Defence with 50 SPA protects skin from sun damage without making it oily, patchy and greasy.

7.     Apply Hydrating Gel

Finish your regime with extra dose of hydrating gel. Atop your sunscreen, apply TNW Pure Aloe Vera Gold Gel – a nice formulation of aloe vera and gold. Aloe vera helps retain moisture and keeps skin hydrated even during long hours out on a cold day and gold gives that extra glow and illuminating effect to make winter skin Happy and Glowing.
